Frequently asked questions
I see that you are general business consultants but also work in health and safety; why is that?
Our team comes from a cross section of business areas and has worked with various industries. Because of this, we have been able to make a difference for many different enterprises. One area that has stood out as being problematic for many SME’s is Health and Safety. We have people within our team who are qualified in this area. More importantly though, we are also business development specialists. This means that we can work with you at a pace that is financially safe for your business and help you to integrate Health and Safety into everyday business
What services do you provide?
Our services include; Strategic development, performance development, health and safety, human resources, marketing, sales, negotiation support, media and communications training, coaching and advisory, presentation preparation, and much more.
Can you help me to increase my profitability and help me to ‘work on my business and not in it’ by showing me how to remove myself from day-to-day business?
We can certainly do that. This type of support though is always more of a long game than a quick fix. Removing yourself from day-to-day business takes time. We can quickly develop a pathway to do this. Walking the journey with you is the next step.
Do you provide client references?
We are very happy to do so after our initial conversations.
We have very sensitive intellectual property, and it is imperative that this is not leaked. We are nervous about bringing in a 3rd party. We would need a non-disclosure agreement signed.
We would be very happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement and have a robust one that we can supply. Our business involves keeping you safe; this includes your IP.
Do you also offer your services to not-for-profit enterprises?
We most certainly do. Many of our most cherished successes have come from partnering with non-profit organisations.
How do I know if Sabbath Consulting is a good fit for my business?
We have helped so many businesses achieve their goals. We can likely help you too. Understandably there will be some industries that we would not be as familiar with as others. We would be happy to discuss this with you in confidence to ensure you get the best outcome you can with the best people.
How is a consulting project started and organised?
An initial meeting(s) to determine your needs and business challenges. This will allow us to establish if we are your best fit and for you to meet us and confirm that we are a good fit for you.
Once we have established that we can help, we will organise a mutual non-disclosure agreement to protect your and our valuable intellectual property (IP). After this, we will meet further to understand your most significant needs and the company’s present position in more detail.
We can then create a scope of work (SOW) that will outline our mutually agreed deliverable along with costs and timelines.
We then roll up our sleeves together and help you build your success. .
How long does a consultation project last?
Our work with you can be as short, or as long, as you need. We can initially consult and guide and then supply templates and manuals for you to self-direct your journey, we can work alongside you on an ongoing basis, or we can check in with you weekly, fortnightly or monthly as you need.
We can also be on call if you need us. This can be especially helpful with HR issues or unexpected business developments.
